Join us as Chef Navjot Aurora, Executive Chef & Co-owner of Old Monk, an East Village hotspot known for its elevated Indian cuisine, shares his vast food knowledge from his native India
Explore the spices used to create the complex flavors that comprise each dish as we sit in the open kitchen. All attendees will be divided into teams and given an interactive assignment to fully immerse themselves in the components of Indian cooking styles.
A signature cocktail of Muddled cucumbers, cilantro, mint, limes with vodka will kickstart the afternoon.
Each guest will leave with a recipe booklet.

Navjot Arora was born and raised in India. After attending culinary school, he worked at the Taj Palace Hotel in New Delhi for ten years. When the time came to learn even more, Navjot decided to relocate to New York. There, he partnered with Sushil Malhotra, and both opened and worked as the Executive Chef at a number of restaurants. He's now currently Executive Chef & Co-Owner of Old Monk in the East Village.
