It’s time brush up on our French, folks- we’re heading to France in the heart of Manhattan, at Le Privé!

Le Privé is redefining French dining with elegant style, charming ambiance, and exquisite dishes. The menu, meticulously designed by Chef Reagan Angelle, is both comforting and alluring; offering remarkable classic French dishes as well as opportunities for new and exciting culinary experiences.

Le Privé’s wine consultant, Geoffrey Liebert will take us on a trip through the most essential French wine terriors; guiding us to Alsace in the North, and through Bordeaux, Loire, and the Rhône Valley.

In this interactive and informational experience, we’ll apply what we learn about the French AOC (appellation d’origine contrôlée) system, and how the terriors impact the flavor profiles of the wines.

The wine will be paired with a selection of French cheeses.

On Geoffrey

Geoffrey has been at Le Privé since the very beginning. Originally from Versailles, France, he moved to New York five years ago. Despite his young age, he’s already served as sommelier for 16 years, which has given him a prodigious prowess in his field. He was educated at The Ferrandi School of Culinary Arts in Paris (École Grégoire-Ferrandi), and was recently ranked number four in the “Bartender Of The Year, New York” competition. Not to mention he contributed in the creation of Le Privés astonishing signature drinks ;)
