Going back to the Neolithic Age, the Greeks have the oldest recorded history in winemaking. In the 11th century B.C., they created a wine standard bearing similar resemblance to today’s appellation system in the EU.

Join us for a very special talk, as our tour guides, Kamal Kouiri (GM of Molyvos, Ousia; Partner at The Athenian) and Jason Corey (Owner of The Immigrant, The Athenian), taste us through the north of Greece with their complex deep red wines, as well as Santorini, where the Assyrtiko grape is king.  And for old times sake, we’ll indulge in Amphora wines to truly understand and experience what the Greeks were imbibing on 3,000 years ago.

Afterwards, we’ll enjoy a Greek family-style dinner as we continue to learn about the richness and vastness of Greek food, drink, and culture.

Bring your curiosity, enthusiasm, and appetite! (No passport required)
